Movie DVDs has a special file system. So you have to use a Movie DVD making program for this task. Try to use AVS Video Converter.

• Download and install AVS Video Converter
• Open a file or files (it can work in a batch mode)
• Click To DVD
• Select output profile PAL or NTSC
• Click Convert Now

After conversion is finished, it will ask you to insert a blank DVD.

I think that AVS Video Converter is the best. It supports virtually all video formats and has built-in DVD, VCD burning engine.
