How to upload files to an FTP server?

To upload the file you should use an ftp client, for example free FileZila.


Here is a mini-guide:


  • Download, install and run the program. Here is the direct link: FileZilla_3.1.1.1_win32-setup.exe
  • Run the program: Start > All Programs > FileZila FTP Client > FileZila
  • Type the host name, username and password and click Quickconnect. Take a look at this screenshot: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/img2/filezila.png
  • Find the file on your computer, make right mouse click on it and select Upload
